A month or so ago, I posted about students writing Breakup Letters based on the Declaration of Independence. Here are the students who won the competition. Great Job Everyone!
Have you ever created a Kahoot? Kids LOVE playing Kahoot! It's like an interactive gameshow. I use it a lot to review vocabulary or in Social Studies to review for an assessment. I've also had students create Kahoots as part of an Anchor Assignment.
Have you ever been at a social event and played Left-Right-Center? Well, I created a school version and called it Left-Right-Answer. I thought I was the first teacher to ever think up such a creative review game, but alas, there are teachers way ahead of me. Like this one who already created the dice.
Anyways, It's a great way to use task cards! Students are in small groups and one player rolls the dice. If the dice lands on "Left" or "Right" the student sitting on their left or right has to take a task card and solve the problem. If the student rolls an "Answer" they have to answer the question. Students had a super fun time! They keep asking me when they can play again :)
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
